That's right. The one...the only...Tevin Campbell is coming to 4th & B Street in downtown San Diego December 28th. You know I am gonna be at that show. Isn't he like 40 by now?

Well...I hope everyone had a nice holiday. I spent most of mine stuck in bed with some disgusting sickness. Probably some form of the flu...but I am over it for the most part. At least I am back on my feet. Since I have been in my apartment I have not had a television....which is actually totally great. I find myself doing things much more constructive than bringing my brain to a complete stop for hours on end every night. I actually have not missed it at all until I was sick and stuck in bed. I could do nothing constructive and all I wanted to do was let my brain rest while my body healed. Well...I guess you win some and you lose some. I still think I am better off.
This weekend was great. It was about 80 degrees all weekend. I had some good sushi with a friend on Friday. Went to the beach and then to a great party on the hill on Saturday. Had brunch out in the front parking lot, went to the beach(again), and saw the Wal-Mart movie at the Independent Media Center on Sunday. A jam packed weekend of fun and adventure. Also got the telephone and interweb hooked up at the house. When I get my cellphone I will send out the dreaded mass email to all those peeps who would like my contact information. It's turkey killin' week and I get to see my cousins hilarious kids. Should be fun. Sorry I am going to miss the holiday in Lex Vegas. I will be in town for Christmas though....with f***in' bells on mother-bitches!!
Live Feeds of the beaches here. They don't really have one for Pacific Beach, but the one at Scripps is just north of where I live.
I have discovered that I do like LA. At least at night when all the fun stuff is going on. I don't think I could deal with traffic though, it makes San Diego seem like a circus act.
I've been listening to recorded show on archive.org recently and I came across the way back machine. It is probably old news to some of you but check this out. The first el jacquez real. I was adding entries manually then. No easy blogger interface. Ahhh the memories.
