I'm Missin' You

Ooh, Ooh, Ooh.

So I have safely arrived and already have a week of the new job under my belt. I have not found a place to live yet, but all of my car and household goods have arrived. I am trying to find a place in Pacific Beach (where I lived before), which is turning into a large hassle. Every place I like keeps getting taken out from under my nose. Well, it will happen eventually, I am jsut tired of living in a hotel. The bed making and cleaning is nice though.

I miss you people though. I have met a few people, which is nice, but I guess it will never be like home. I will still have the same phone number for a week or so, so call me or drop me a line at the email or even better...come visit! You will likey I promise.

Well, I made it to California in one piece, but no reason to be jealous. It has been rainy and cold here since I arrived. Waiting for the sun to break. Not here to talk, just post some pictures from the going away party.

Good Deed for the Day

I was checking my garden in the back yard for ripe tomatoes today as I walked closer a rabbit saw me and ran towards the fence. It turned to look at me and I stopped and stared back. It then made a stupid move and tried to climb through the fence. It got stuck on its hind legs and began to shake and scream violently trying to free itself. The screaming sort of freaked me out and I am still shaking. Everytime I tried to get close and help him it shook some more. I finally calmed it down by making calming noises and I pulled the fence apart as much as I could. I gave it a little push through and it seemed to be okay because it took off. When I looked at it I could see the untamed spirit in its eyes. It is a much different look than that of some of the people's eyes I look into. I hope I never forget that look.

Happy Birthday to Me

I am 27 today. Hoo Ray.

It's probably the weather, but I am feeling kind of bummed. I am sad and anxious about leaving my home, friends, and family. It is definetely all for the better and I think I will be much happier and healthier in my new environment. Going to visit the Bun again next week and I finally get to see Wilco. Also Dean informed me that she is going to get Jacket tickets in LA and possibly backstage passes. Keep rockin' you gits!! Woo Hoo!!
